About Us
New Holding SGPS, S.A. was founded in 2010 with the corporate name “Made In 1965 SGPS, S.A.”, which in 2017 was replaced by the current name.
In the same year of 2010, New Holding began its activity with the acquisition of a 50% stake in Hexaprisma SGPS, S.A, a company then based in Matosinhos which, together with its subsidiaries, moved its headquarters to the same address from New Holding.
Our mission is to make financial investments, primarily in real estate investment and development companies, currently holding 19 subsidiaries, 13 of which through direct participation and 6 through indirect participation, many of which hold 100% of their share capital. Functioning as a Holding, it buys and sells financial shares, manages the financial resources available to capitalize the companies involved in the development of their projects and creates new companies when projects arise that justify autonomous development.
Our real estate investment strategy is mainly focused on industrial, logistics, retail, hotel and tourism projects.
Our facilities are located in a privileged area of Porto, located on Avenida da Boavista in front of Parque da Cidade, with easy access and parking. We are 15 minutes from the airport and we have several 5* hotels on the same avenue, namely the Porto Palácio Hotel, the Sheraton Porto Hotel and the Crowne Plaza, or 4* hotels such as the Bessa Hotel and the Quality Inn.

Luís Dantas dos Santos
CEO
During his degree in Applied Mathematics, he was IT director in a German multinational car industry, later pursuing a career as an entrepreneur in which he created and developed technological, industrial and real estate investment companies, in which he already has 35 years of experience. His biggest motivation has always been real estate investment, which began more than 23 years ago in parallel with other activities, and which since 2008 has become the main focus.
António Esteves
Buisness Developer
Graduated in Economics from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Porto, António Esteves began his career in banking, in the commercial area. Later, he dedicated himself to business management, dealing with various business sectors, with a focus on the real estate sector. In addition, he has extensive experience in strategic and operational development.

Rosa Bráz
CFO
Graduated in Accounting and Administration from ISCAP and a member of the Order of Certified Accountants. She began her career in the financial and accounting department of an industrial company. Currently, she is the Chief Financial Officer of the New Holding Group, where she has deepened her knowledge in accounting and taxation, dealing with the diverse activities of the group's companies.
Luísa Dantas
General Director
Extensive experience and expertise in overall hotel management, including organisation, planning, staff recruitment, marketing and advertising initiatives, sales, guest satisfaction monitoring, and supplier and procurement management.
Strong communication skills, developed through professional experience in management and sales roles, are a key asset. Demonstrates strong leadership capabilities and is currently responsible for a team of 22 people.
Member of the General Council of APHORT – Portuguese Association of Hospitality, Restaurants and Tourism.

Sónia Valente
Certified Accountant
After completing her bachelor's degree in Accounting and Management, Sónia was the technical director at an accounting firm for 8 years. She then founded her own accounting company. For over 10 years, she has been a certified accountant with the New Holding Group.
José Luís Camões
Investments Partner
26 years of experience in the financial sector, including 7 years as CEO of a management consulting firm specializing in investment projects and real estate development. Currently serves as a board member of a textile company.
He holds a degree in Business Management, a Master’s degree in Data Analytics, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Analysis.
His areas of expertise include financial management, investment project management, general and commercial management, industrial restructuring, and the development of growth and expansion strategies.

Patrícia Silva
Senior Project Development Manager
Master’s degree in Architecture from FCTUC-DARQ, having also attended and completed the doctoral programme in Architecture at FAUP.
Architect with 23 years of extensive experience in the development, coordination, and comprehensive management of large-scale and complex architectural projects. Experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams across architecture and engineering disciplines, ensuring rigorous alignment between creative vision, regulatory requirements, and economic viability.
Matheus Pereira
BIM Architect
Master’s degree in BIM Management from Zigurat Global Institute of Technology and a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás, Matheus Henrique Pereira has experience in architectural design, with a particular focus on high-end multifamily residential buildings.
He specialises in BIM and stands out in project coordination using Revit and Archicad. He also explores emerging technologies to optimise project development processes and enhance overall design quality.

Raslen Somia
Engineer
He studied Civil Engineering in Tunisia, completing both undergraduate cycles followed by the Engineering programme, and later continued his studies in Portugal, where he obtained a Master’s degree.
He began his professional career in Portugal as an engineer, working with several companies in the sector and contributing to a wide range of projects, particularly in building construction, road infrastructure, and railway projects.
He currently works as an engineer at NEW Holding, where he continues to expand his technical expertise and professional experience in the field of civil engineering.
Julia Gonçalves
BIM Architect
Master’s degree in Architecture from FAUP, including an Erasmus study period at RWTH Aachen University, which provided valuable exposure to architectural practice in an international context.
With experience in the development of architectural projects across different design stages, works on project conception and representation, research into construction solutions, and the adaptation of proposals to the specific requirements of each project.
Further complemented this academic background with Revit training, reinforcing an interest in the integration of digital tools and BIM methodologies to support the development and optimisation of architectural projects.
